A preschool is the one institution in education where "AI-native" is almost a contradiction in terms, and that is exactly why building one properly is worth doing carefully. Nearly everything that matters at age three happens in registers no machine can check.

India's organised preschool market is built almost entirely on a franchise template: a brand licenses a curriculum, a room layout and an operating manual to hundreds or thousands of centres, and the promoter's job is fidelity to the manual, not design. It is a real business, and a large one; the sector is estimated at roughly INR 44,000 to 53,400 crore as of 2024-25, with unorganised operators still accounting for the large majority of centres by count (Source: IMARC/EMR/RedSeer, 2024-25). But a franchise room is designed to be reproduced, not designed for the fifty children actually in it.
